Tycos Limited Lifetime Warranty

At Tycos, we stand behind every blade we ship. Each knife is inspected by hand before it leaves us, and we back it for life.

What's Covered

Tycos Knives warrants this product to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. If your knife fails due to a manufacturing defect — such as handle separation, blade delamination, or structural failure under normal kitchen use — we will repair or replace it free of charge.

This warranty also applies if you received your Tycos knife as a gift. Just have the original order number or the name of the purchaser handy.

What's Not Covered

This warranty covers defects, not damage. The following are not covered:

• Damage from misuse or abuse, including prying, twisting, throwing, or using the knife as a tool other than for cutting food
• Dishwasher damage (always hand wash and dry your Tycos knife)
• Damage from cutting frozen foods, bones, or non-food materials
• Rust, staining, or patina resulting from improper care (high-carbon Damascus steel requires drying after use)
• Edge dulling from normal use, or damage from improper sharpening
• Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic wear to the handle or finish
• Loss or theft
• Products purchased from unauthorized resellers
• Commercial or professional kitchen use (this warranty is intended for home use)

Accident Replacement Program

We get it, accidents happen. If your knife is damaged in a way not covered by this warranty, we'll still take care of you: Tycos owners can replace a damaged knife for 50% off the current retail price. Email us a photo of the damage and your The Lifetime Warranty Card

How to Make a Claim

1. Email support@tycosknives.com or text us at +1 201-496-9039 with your order number (or gift purchaser's name) and clear photos of the issue.
2. We'll review your claim within 3 business days.
3. If approved, we'll repair or replace your knife. You cover shipping to us; we cover shipping back.

Other Terms

This is a limited warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Engraved and personalized knives are covered by this warranty, but due to their custom nature, they are not eligible for return or exchange under our standard return policy.

Tycos Knives reserves the right to determine, in good faith, whether damage is the result of a defect or of misuse, based on inspection and photos provided.
